The Selbe Family also spelled Selvy, Starts out with John Selvy  (Selby) and  wife Sarah Gibbons Lowden Selbe.  They had a son Peter Gibbons Selbe.  The  family   lived in Prince Edward Co, Va.  Later in West Virgina. Ohio, Nebraska,  Kans, and many later were in Colorado.

In Davis line.   Peter Gibbons wife. Edna W. Davis 
 from W.Va is said to have been the neice of Jefferson Davis.  So, far nobody  has connected the theory, that I know about.

Also, Tracy family is listed here.  A Joshua Tracy and wife Rachel Dilworth  came over from Ireland, lived in Maryland and later Ohio.  May have lived  around Perry Co, Ohio.

Benjamin Tracys daughter,   Sarah Ellen Tracy married Peter G Selbes son,  Robert Absolom Selbe.
   Benjamin Tracy"s wife was Lucy Ann Allen, the daughter of Harve(y) Allen and  his wife, Lucy Pemburton from Vermont.
